7 Famous Actors Who Rejected Baahubali

Recently released film Baahubali: The Conclusion has shattered many records at the box office and has become the first Indian movie to enter the Rs.1000 Crore club. This movie has now set a new landmark for everyone in the industry and turned out to be a golden opportunity for all its actors. Here, we are sharing the list of some actors who refused the golden ticket to star in this blockbuster.,

Sridevi

As per some reports, she was offered the role of Sivagami Devi but due to her high demands, the role finally went to Ramya Krishnan. Now, after watching the film it is hard to imagine anyone except Ramya in this role.

Hrithik Roshan

According to a report in DNA, director SS Rajamouli's initial plan was to make Baahubali in Hindi with actors like Hrithik Roshan and then dub it in different languages. He even offered the role of Baahubali to Hrithik Roshan, but he showed no interest in the movie and finally Prabhas got the role.

John Abraham

He was supposedly the first choice of SS Rajamouli, for the role of Bhallaladeva and also sent him the script, but got no response from him. After which he decided to make it with Rana instead.

Mohanlal

He reportedly rejected the role of Kattapa in the film, which was later played by actor Sathyaraj. As we all know, this role turned out to be one of the most important roles in the film.

Vivek Oberoi

It is said that he was also offered the role of Bhallaladeva, but due to his busy schedule, he had no option but to reject it.

Sonam Kapoor

She was supposed to play the role of Avantika in this film, but she walked out of it, as the makers wanted her to devote all her time to the film for a lock-in period of 2 years.

Nayanthara

She was approached for the role of female lead, Devasena in the film but she refused the role and it went to another South Indian actress Anushka Shetty.
